When Glitter Doesn’t Help ~Living with RA ~

Yeah yeah throw some glitter on it … Glitter make everything better. However, not many people know that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Even the name is a pain in the a$$ to spell. I’ve been thinking about being a blogger and what to blog about… and here it’s been all along just like for the past 25 hiding inside my body. Yes that’s right I was in my early 20’s when I was first told I had RA and thought that doctor was crazy I’m too young for that well, I wasn’t. I started off taking oral medication… then to self injection ( which sucked the worse) and have currently been taking IV treatments for the last 15 to 20 years. Good Time. During this time period I really didn’t tell many people of the challenges I faced daily. However, that suddenly changed this past December. My IV medication stopped working,I was hurting and the Dr and myself felt I needed to try a new med and take sometime off work. That’s when the hard part happened to me I know how to admit that my RA won… I had to leave my students (I’m a teacher) tell my administrators that I has a disease that I’m trying to fight. That was so hard to me… I get so emotional my students are my world and I was leaving… I’ll let you know how my new med Medication works
